Kawasaki Z900

When using the abba Superbike Stand or Sky Lift on the Kawasaki Z900 a cosmetic frame cover needs to be removed from either side of the bike to gain access to the swing arm pivot, so the abba Stand/Lift can be fitted. Removing the covers is very easy. Simply unscrew two small screws (4mm Hex/Allen key) from either side and the plastic covers just pull off from a few rubber retaining grommets attached to the bike.

The picture to the right shows the cover that needs to be removed from both sides of the bike, the arrows show the two screw positions.

Once the covers are removed the Stand/Lift can be fitted in the normal way. Re fitting the covers is equally as easy. Simply push them back into place and re tighten the two small screws either side.

The picture to the right shows the cover removed and the Stand fitted to the bike.

The abba Stand/Lift fits inside the hollow swing arm pivot bolt on the left hand side of the bike and inside the 17mm hex key slot on the right.

The outer part of the fitting is narrow enough to fit inside the frame tube and avoid touching any part of the frame.
